A searing exploration of loss, displacement and a longing for home, ELEGY is based on verbatim interviews with queer refugees and inspired the images of photojournalist Bradley Secker.

Exploring the unimaginable homophobia still occurring in “post-liberation” Iraq and the Middle East, and the horrific realities imposed on minority groups faced with no choice but to flee, ELEGY is a lament for lives in exile and the dead they have been forced to leave behind.
